MGB Nov 2010: Bouquet of Thankfulness

Hooray, Thanksgiving week is here!  It is one of our favorite holidays here at PITV...a time to get together with family, enjoy a scrumptious feast, and go out of our way to find reasons to be thankful.  What could be better?

MGB October 2010: In the Pink

It's that time of month again: time for the Monthly Garden Bouquet meme, that is.  This is hosted by Noelle of Ramblings from a Desert Garden.  Check out the arrangement I threw together this morning:

MGB July 2010: Bouquet of Summer Breezes

As I headed out to cut my Monthly Garden Bouquet, I  have to admit I was feeling a little green-eyed over all the giant roses and peonies I see gracing the Northern gardens in spring and summer.  Those splendid, full-petaled beauties make wonderful bouquets, but I don't seem to have any gorgeous blooms of that sort, though in winter, my camelllias do put on a nice show.  But this is not winter.  Far from it, actually.  The days have been blistering, brutally stretching out for hours in the mid- to upper-90's.  At least at night, we know it will dip down to 78.  Whoopee.

MGB-June 2010: Independence Bouquet

It's time for the June Monthly Garden Bouquet (actually, I'm a little late to the party), hosted by Noelle of Ramblings from a Desert Garden.  This is a fun meme and a great way to encourage hesitant gardeners to cut those stems.  (I personally find it very hard to take the scissors to my flowers.)

MGB May 2010: Bouquet of Serenity and Sunshine

Well, here it is almost the end of May's third week, and I am finally getting around to cutting a bouquet.  So much has been going on in the garden and in life recently, that I've just not had time to think about it.

MGB April: Bouquet of Rampant Blooms

A couple months ago, I didn't even know what a meme was.  Now I find myself joining them left and right.  (For those who don't know, a meme is just a copycat post.)  The newest meme I've discovered is the Monthly Garden Bouquet, hosted by Noelle of Ramblings from a Desert Garden.  Now, before you panic, don't worry, for this meme is not for showing off fancy bouquets like you find at the florist or the grocery store cooler.  These are freshly picked bouquets straight from the garden.
